DGFT (Directorate General of Foreign Trade) is a Government organization with main objectives of promoting export and import in India. DGFT is also responsible to create and implement guidelines for importers and exporters of India. DGFT issues Importers & Exporters Code Numbers, grants permission for free trades, controls export incentives Rates, helps in promoting imports and exports, and coordinates with state governments and all the other departments of Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India
